The last few days have been filled with writing madness. I have just reached 23,000 words of my NaNoWriMo novel and it’s all thanks to this beautiful piece of music I’ve discovered. Suddenly all became clear and in that moment I emotionally connected to my novel in a way I never expected to be.
Here the music is. I hope you enjoy.
Howard Sees the World – Kerry Muzzey
The meaning of winter.
Is it putting on a thick coat, wrapping up in scarfs, gloves and hats, and bring the biting wind to get to work, uni or school? Is it dying to stop at the nearest coffee shop just so you can warm your numb hands after a walk around town, frantically trying to buy last minute Christmas presents?
Or is it sitting in the house desperately trying to warm your hands up so you can write or type the next chapter of your story?
Well yes, it’s all of that, but for me…it is this…
“Winters were made for warm blankets and large books.”
Need I say more?
To continue on with today’s writing prompt of Happily Ever After, here’s a picture from one of my favourite Disney films ‘Tangled’.
Flynn Rider and Rapunzel get their ‘Happily Ever After’.
This photo was taken during the 2011 Vancouver riots. The story goes that this couple were knocked down by Police when attempting to get to safety, the girl hit her head and started to panic and here shows her boyfriends attempts to comfort her. Such a beautiful photo!
This picture is a screenshot of the character Tom Branson from the television programme ‘Downton Abbey’. A historical drama currently set in the 1920’s.
The expression on Tom’s face, well embodies today’s writing prompt ‘Despair’.
To carry on with my theme of tears, here’s a wonderful photo I found that fit the theme perfectly…
